Angelina Jolie Says Daughter Shiloh Wants to Be a Boy

Posted by Amy Boshnack

am in awe of Angelina Jolie and her life. She's managed to pull together a family like no other: six kids all under the age of 8, a jet-set lifestyle, and Brad Pitt. I do wonder how the kids will be when they are older ... what type of autobiographical information will come out about their childhood when they are free to talk to the press. They all seem to get along really well, but how could they possibly be as well-adjusted as they seem? Maybe I am just jealous.

Which brings me to the latest info coming out in a revealing Vanity Fair interview that has Angelina talking about Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and her boyish ways. I am guessing Angelina felt the need to address Shiloh's "look" because of all of the criticism from the judging public. Maybe she needed to say publicly that she and Brad are not trying to turn Shiloh into a boy! Jolie explains:

"[Shiloh dresses] like a little dude. Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It's how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers."

Kids will be kids ... and allowing them to be who they are will help make them well-adjusted adults, comfortable in their own skin. Now watch Shiloh grow up to be the girliest of girls!

In the interview Angelina also tells Vanity Fair that she's not pregnant, she's not marrying Brad anytime soon, and that she's considering leaving Hollywood.
